More than 60 runners and walkers (and at least one leashed dog) participated in the Washington Brewery Running Series 5K run through Ravenna Park last Saturday—already a busy Father’s Day with FIFA Soccer and Mariners games also competing for everyone’s time. It was a fun time for all! Participants, including four FORC Board members headed out from the local Ravenna Brewing Company’s location on NE 55th Street at 11:00 AM and headed east to Ravenna and Cowen Parks, circling back and returning to enjoy libations and socializing at the brewery.
The Washington Brewery Running Series® organization’s mission is to: “Be Active. Have Fun. Give Back.” Ten percent of the profits will be donated to our organization, Friends of Ravenna-Cowen (FORC). Thanks Washington Brewery Running Series!
