Luckily, we had a break in the weather on Sunday, September 13, for our annual Ravenna Park History Walk. Twenty six eager souls joined FORC members Larry and Lani Johnson as they related the story of the creation of the park, its natural history, and the many changes that have taken place over the years.
Larry and Lani also took a small group from Merrill Gardens Senior Living on an abbreviated walk through the Ravine on Friday, September 25, although unfortunately, the weather wasn’t as pleasant, with rain showers cutting the tour short.
